Do you want to dive deeper into Hatha Yoga?
You’ve come to the right place. This workshop will make yoga classes accessible to beginners and will also be fun, energizing and relaxing to people who already practice yoga. There is something in for all levels of yoga and for people who want to deepen their practice and understanding of yoga.
In this yoga workshop I will lead you gently through the foundations of yoga with its different aspects; yoga postures, meditation, pranayama, relaxation, yoga background and yoga for people of today. We will also touch on aspects of healthy nutrition. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and we will go into the details of basic yoga postures, meditation and pranayama.
After the yoga workshop you will feel confident to establish a healthy and gentle yoga practice and home. You will have learned more about foundations and ideas that are not always explained during a regular yoga class.
When and where?
The workshop takes place at YogaNation, Seefeldstrasse 7a, 8008 Zürich from 9:30am to 12:30pm. Please come 15 minutes before the workshop starts.
What to expect
The three hour workshop will mix practice, theory and time for questions. Connect to other like-minded people and make new friends. You will learn and practice meditation, breathing exercises and yoga postures. The session finishes in a long, rejuvenating deep relaxation pose. The program is as follows:
- Welcome and introduction
- Breathing exercises (pranayama)
- Yoga practice and basic yoga postures in-depth (asanas)
- Time for questions
- Deep relaxation
