How about relaxing, centering, and being happy for no particular reason?
Yoga and cleansing helps you to
- improve your quality of life and your health with simple, easy-to-use tools that you can apply in a class and in your daily life,
- feel more centered, balanced and to change your habits for the better,
- manage and control your thoughts and emotions as well as your physical health,
- feel a sense of belonging, trust and acceptance.
All that knowledge is already inside you. Many people have simply forgotten how to do it. The knowledge comes naturally back with yoga, cleansing, learning and practice.
Once you engage in a particular practice just because you love to do it, all the benefits come of themselves. If you love doing yoga postures regularly, just for the good feeling it generates, your body becomes more flexible, stronger, and more healthier by itself.
It‘s never about perfection, it is about improving, steadily. You learn, what works for you and what doesn’t in your own pace. You make changes in your life with compassion and with a sense of gaining more self-control over time.
What is yoga?
Yoga is both: a state of being and a variety of methods to attain Self-realization. It encompasses your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual body. These layers are coverings of your true Self. They are interlaced with each other. Working on one of these has effects on all others. Yoga strives for balance within each body and among these bodies.
Some quotations from the books by Dr. Charanjit Ghooi about yoga:
- Yoga is the method of coming to a non-dreaming mind. It is the science of being in the here and now.
- Regular practice of yoga asana in conjunction with pranayama (control of breath) reduces fatigue, releases toxins, soothes the nervous system and helps to keep the body free from disease.
- The practice of asana is meditation in motion.
- Through focused concentration a beautiful alignment is made between body, breath, senses, intellect and soul.
- The aim is not to achieve perfect posture, but to perfect presence.
What are the components of a healthy diet and a structured approach to cleansing?
A systematic and effective detoxification encompasses your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. When you start with working on your physical body usually people start cleansing old believes, become emotionally more stable and feel more connected to their High Self.
The cleaner your body gets, the more your habits and perspectives will change accordingly. It will be easier for you to let go, surrender, trust, and accept. You feel a greater sense of inner peace and balance. You will become your own master and be sovereign.
The method for a healthy nutrition includes consuming juices and foods, that contain a high percentage of life force energy (prana). This means, you eat a clean diet which is green-centric, highly water containing and alkaline. At the same time you use tools to eliminate waste matter and toxic substances from your body. Regular gentle exercise and lots of fresh air are two further important components in the approach that I teach and consult in.
Happiness and health
Happiness in yoga is a feeling of joy and inner peace coming from inside. Yoga emphasizes to be loving towards self and others, to practice spiritual discernment and to gain applicable knowledge about all bodies (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual). It strives for personal power and unconditional love towards yourself and others.
These attitudes help live a happier life:
- Right Perception,
- Psychological health,
- Selfless service,
- Leading yourself with love.
Yoga in daily life
Yoga is for daily life, to be centered and relaxed in whatever situation. To feel happy for no reason. To feel grounded and kind and compassionate. To remove all blocks, so that creativity can flow.
Yoga is experiencing the harmony of spirit, mind and body, experiencing the underlying source of everything, and acting in this attitude.
Yoga is getting to know your-Self, being Self-aware. This quality can be experienced everywhere, be it in a temple or at my work, and above all in daily life.
All is One, all is Love, everyone is loved unconditionally.
Progress means to releasing judgements, and emotions that no longer serve any purpose, and replacing them with thoughts and feelings that work.
If we practice being kind and compassionate to ourselves, we will be kind and compassionate towards others, and vice versa.
You have a body to feel connection, happiness and bliss. Your body is your best friend, and and it is nice to care well for him.
Natalia Rose from DetoxTheWorld says that vitality will become the most valued commodity in modern society, and that we cannot buy it in a box. I totally agree. We have to learn how to become more and more our original, healthy, happy selves, and to work patiently and steadily towards that goal.
We are here to experience, enjoy, and to create. Creating is fun!
“Communion with the Divine is True Yoga. All other yogic practices are merely physical exercises” – Sri Sathya Sai Baba
“You are now living in the dark, in ignorance. The knowledge, that you are the Divine Spark, encased in the sheaths of bliss, intelligence, feelings, sensations and organic substances – this knowledge is Light. You must light your own lamp. You cannot walk in the light of another‘s lamp. Earn the knowledge yourself. Even knowing it is not enough; you must experience it.” – Sri Sathya Sai Baba
“Yoga citti vritti nirodaha – Yoga is the restriction of the fluctuations of consciousness.” – translated by Georg Feuerstein
“Spirituality is the awakening of divinity in consciousness” – Harish Johari
“After long searches here and there, in temples and in churches, in earths and in heavens, at last you come back. Completing the circle from where you started, to your own soul and find that He, for whom you have been seeking all over the world, for whom you have been weeping and praying in churches and temples, on whom you are looking as the mystery of all mysteries shrouded in the clouds in nearest of the near, is your own self, the reality of your life, body and soul.” – Sri Sathya Sai Baba
“We cannot describe God in the vocabulary learned upon the Earth. We have to experience the Bliss of realizing Him as the core of our being. Man is endowed with a sense of wonder and awe, the sense which makes him either a participant (Karma Yoga), an inquirer into the mystery (Jnana Yoga) or a devout adorer (Bhakti Yoga)” – Sri Sathya Sai Baba
“God is not somebody with a big white beard, sitting in heaven. God is love. He is space. When you are meditating, when you feel at peace, at home with everyone, you are in touch with the Divine force. Can you live without love? In the Upanishads, it is said kham kham brahma – the space is God, in which every thing is and into which everything dissolves.” – Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
“See people beyond their expressions. What a person expresses is not what he is all about. There is a lot of unexpressed love in each life. Just recognizing this fact, you expand. Your heart expands. With this knowledge you would never dwell on what someone says or does. What someone says is very small, and what someone does is just the ribbon on the package. If you do not like the ribbon, just take it off and look inside.” – Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
“As you will see, the New Energy Body is the ultimate detox process because it cleanses us of the density that prevents us from living in our wholeness – our whole joy, full energy and full power! When we are swimming in the toxicity of modern lifestyle (negativity, fear and aggravation in addition to the obvious food wastes and pollution), we are an obstacle unto ourselves. We cannot see clearly enough to guide others (including our children). Once the layers of density embedded in our physical cells and our emotional body are removed we can finally see ourselves, our surroundings and our full potential clearly. It’s like the light gets switched on in our proverbial “living room”.” – Natalia Rose: “The New Energy Body”
